The Democratic Republic of the Congo, a country located in Central Africa is the second largest nation in Africa by area and the eleventh largest in the world. Only the name of this country symbolizes democracy,   there is no democracy in Congo since its independence in 1960. According to the study, majority of the masses who reside close to the border experience a brutal and unimaginable life. Congo, a failed state, appears more like a place that doesn't exist at all. This lawless land serves as a hideout for various armed groups. The eastern most part of this country has been frequently referred to as the 'rape capital of the world' as the armed groups rape, kidnap women and make them work as sexual slaves. Because of all these factors, Congo now stands as the second most failed nation in the world.
