Rakesh Khurana: Rakesh Khurana is the Marvin Bower Professor of Leadership Development at Harvard Business School and also the faculty member of sociology in the field of Arts and Sciences.
As a member of the Harvard community, Khurana’s contribution is immense. He has led and worked on a number of policy-making panels, including the Committee on Academic Integrity, Campus Culture, Alcohol and Other Drug Services Campus-Community Collaborative. Khurana was appointed to the HBS faculty board in 2000 and became co-master of Cabot in 2010. He was also a faculty at Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1998 and 2000. Prior to graduate school, Khurana worked as a founding member of Cambridge Technology Partners. Khurana has been recognized for his commitment to academics, he received twice earning teaching excellence awards in 2008 and 2012. Outside his professional life, Khurana has co-authored ‘Handbook for Leadership Theory and Practice’ and ‘The Handbook for Teaching Leadership’- a seminal texts on leadership theory and pedagogical practice.
