“Jhadu chalao, beiman bhagao” (Remove the corrupt with a broom): The newly emerging political party like AAP made a spectacular debut in Delhi by winning 28 of the 70 assembly seats and subsequently forming a 49 days minority government. So, for the Lok Sabha polls 2014, the AAP’s slogan coined is “Jhadu chalao, beiman bhagao” (Remove the corrupt with a broom) wherein Broom is the party’s election symbol.

AAP’s Chief Arvind Kejriwal said, “The AAP has given a slogan of jhadu chalao beiman bhagao (throw corrupt out of the system by wielding broom) , and are seeking support of people for cleansing the political system in the country and getting rid of not just the corrupt but corruption too,” reports The Hindu.

So, the party’s advertisement campaign now carries the tagline “Main nahin, hum” (it’s not me, it’s us).
