Sachin started playing cricket at the age of 11 and in a short span of five years he joined the international cricket team of India to face Pakistan in his maiden match. He had to face the fast bowlers and couldn’t actually make his mark there.  Later on, he became the second youngest cricketer to score a double century and Wisden described that magical innings as follows:

“His discipline is even more attractive than his straight drive; the latter is only the mastery of a cricket ball, after all, while the former is the mastery of a formidable mind and body,” as appeared on changeminds blog.

Remain focused

Playing the same game for over 22 years is no joke! It can create a lot of difference both mentally and physically. Representing the nation in international cricket by playing 188 test matches and 463 ODI’s, is itself an indication of the focus the maestro has had.
