How Airlines Make Big Bucks From Their Passengers?

4. Ticketing

Carrying cash while travelling is not a good choice and most of the passengers try their best to avoid cash and prefer credit cards or debit cards.

Even while booking the flight tickets, some of the passengers prefer using their credit card or debit cards. But this service doesn’t come free as most of the airlines charge a certain amount of surcharge for passengers swapping their cards to book the tickets.

5. Foods and Beverages

Outside foods are a strict ‘no’ in most of the airlines. For people, who are on a longer journey, foods and beverages available inside the flight are the only option.

However, when a cup of coffee along with some cookies costs around 30-70, the same can cost 150-250, inside the flight. Even for a bottle of water, the passengers have to pay thrice of the actual price. Inside the plane, each and every consumable product comes with a higher price tag and the passengers do not get any alternate ways to enjoy their meals or cookies.
