Google Is Evil, Stole Our Stuff: Larry Ellison

Ellison also spoke about matters that were close to his heart. He said that late Steve Jobs is his best friend of 25 years, “I am not shorting Apple, there are bunch of talented people in the company, but Steve is irreplaceable," Ellison said about how Apple is not performing as well as when Jobs was at the helm.

"We'd always go for walks. And the walks just kept getting shorter. Until near the end we'd kind of walk around the block or maybe four blocks, something like that. And you just watched him getting weaker. And this is the strongest guy I knew. This was absolutely the strongest, most willful person I have ever met."

Ellison also spoke on the spying controversy that is rocking U.S.; he endorsed the NSA's surveillance programs as "great" and "essential." "By the way, President Obama thinks it's essential too," he said, "It's essential if we want to minimize the kind of strikes that we just had in Boston. It's absolutely essential." The Spy agency uses Oracle technology; he said that the agency shouldn’t be crossing a line it they choose to use surveillance in the name of political targeting.
