Zuckerberg, in October 2010, tried his hand at group messaging which enabled users to send a message to any number of friends and groups. But fate of Facebook’s group messaging was same as that of its predecessors.

 

#7 Facebook's Skype integration might be good

In July 2011, Zuckerberg made a big announcement about its integration with Skype, the software which brought video chat to Facebook. It was received well by the users, but it did not create big buzz as expected by Facebook. 

 

#6 Facebook's social news reader didn't last long

Facebook attempted to use its ‘Graph Search’ to drive more traffic to news sites. It simply didn’t take off to a good start, for the users had many easier options like Google Search and Google News. And then, the news organizations didn’t take long to dump it.
