Saeed Anwar’s Record Score
Saeed Anwar scored the highest of 194 run ever scored by batsmen in ODIs in the 1997 match between India and Pakistan in Chennai. The record was kept for over a decade until in 2010 when Sachin Tendulkar scored a double century against South Africa in Gwalior. With Pakistan opting to bat first, Anwar scores a magnificent 194 for 146 balls,  In which he hit three consecutive sixes to the balls bowled by Anil Kumble. Saeed Anwar’s hope of making the first double century in ODIs was crushed when he lost his wicket to Sourav Ganguly who caught the ball.

Pakistan’s Victory by Miandad's Six
This one is an oldie from 1986, but worth remembering. The match played at Sharjah between India and Pakistan was won by Pakistan just by one wicket. And the man responsible for Pakistan’s win is Javed Miandad. Pakistan required four runs to win, with one ball remaining. The last ball balled by Chetan Sharma tuned out to be a low full toss which Miandad turned into a six hitting over the midwicket boundary, declaring an unexpected win for Pakistan.
