Aaqib Javed Hat-trick Wickets
Aaqib Javed’s fast bowling was at display at the 1991 match played between India and Pakistan at Sharjah. He was so apt at his bowling that he created a record by taking 7 wicket of the Indian team, including a hat-trick that included major wickets back then of Mohammad Azharuddin, Ravi Shastri and Sachin Tendulkar. The match was won by Pakistan by 72 runs.

Hrishikesh Kanitkar Stole the Show
In the final of the Independence Cup at the National Stadium in Dhaka in 1998, chasing the giant score of 315 set by Pakistan; it was Hrishikesh Kanitkar who saved India by turning the game into a victory. The match was opened by Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, and the overs were reduced to 48 each. Indian teams performance entered the record books for chasing the highest total set back in 1998 successfully when Kanitkar hit the second-last ball of the match balled by Saqlain Mushtaq off the boundary beckoning victory.
