National Electoral Commission of Sudan got YouTube blocked in 2010 as the website carried a video that was against the election rules. The video was said to humiliate the entire election system stamping it not trustworthy and secure. Sudan’s National Telecommunication Corporation imposed ban on the service again following the video clip that insulted the Muslim community.   

#10 Bangladesh

Bangladesh Government blocked the website following the leakage of an official meeting between the Prime Minister and a high grade military officer. The video showed how the authorities use army forces to crush riots that pop up in the boarder. The clip brought about wide spread fury resulting in the ban of the service in the country. Innocence of Muslims, a video that mocked Islam also led to YouTube ban in the country on religious basis.
