Maruti Celerio: The market leader and by far the undisputed king in the b-segment maruti Suzuki made its presence in rather big way by getting in the revolutionary auto geared Celerio to the Indian market. The car which was launched in the mid week of February 2014 went on to record 22,000 bookings within 30 days of launch.  The Maruti Suzuki Celerio comes with a longer wheelbase than the outgoing vehicle. Its overall design retains all the familiar elements of the small Suzuki hatchback but boot space is 235-litres, which even bigger than the Swift. The celerio is powered with a 1.0-litre K10B engine that produces 67bhp and 90Nm torque. The manual is a five-speed unit while the AT is an AMT unit which is a first in segment and is expected to be a unique feature among its competitors. Maruti Suzuki Celerio is devised to compete with the Hyundai Santrro Xing and the Chevrolet Beat in its segment.
