Supam Maheshwari, an IIM Alahabad aluminus had sold his e-learning company Brainvisa to Indecomm Global Services for about $25 million (155 crore) in the year 2007. His lock-in contract was over too. But, he was not able to stay away from entrepreneurship for very long. In 2010, Maheshwari along with Amitava Saha, an IIM-Lucknow graduate who headed sales at Brainvisa, launched babycare site–Firstcry. It is the leader in the babycare segment and last month raised 92 crore from Vertex Venture Management and existing investors.
Prashant Tandon - Co-founder ‘HealthKart’

After completing a degree from Stanford University's much acclaimed Graduate School of Business, Prashant Tandon decided to use the experience to launch his own enterprise. He along with Sameer Maheshwari, a graduate from IIT Delhi and Harvard Business School, created HealthKart. It is an online pharmacy network that provides users with access to consumer health products and services. Recently, it also started selling prescription drugs.
