2. The Great Escape

The Great Escape is one of the most entertaining stories about the world war prisoner camp. It is about a group of American officers stuck in a German Prison and their errands to escape from that prison. The book might not at all be about management or entrepreneurship but it surely teaches a lot of it.

Conflict

Roger Bushell also known as the Big X and his company must carve out their way to escape from the prison by hook or crook. The prison is heavily guarded and no one has ever escaped out of it alive. The officers are under strict supervision, minimal supply and literally no communication with the outside world.

Solution

The group of about 10 soldiers tries every possible scheme and trick to help the big officers of the battalion to get out of the camp. They skillfully dig tunnels under the noses of the German Gestapo using various tricks and cons. The book is a sheer source of adrenaline and determination for every entrepreneur.
