7 Best Performing Indian Parliamentarians



R Dhruvanarayana, Congress: Karnataka’s Chamarajnagar MP, R Dhruvanarayana, is listed among the best MPs in the country. He has also served twice as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Karnataka. Most of the times parliamentarian are generally seen as insensitive in utilizing their allocated quota of MP Local Area Development Fund , but this is not so in the case of R Dhruvanarayana. He has utilized 19.61 crore from his MPLAD funds over the last five years. This achievement is attributed to single-minded dedication in ensuring that these grants are utilized for the very purpose for which they are earmarked. Dhruvanarayan states, "I have also utilized the funds to provide ambulances to primary health care centers in my constituency," reports TOI.

Babar Gajanan Dharmshi, Shiv Sena: MP from Maval (Lok Sabha constituency) in Pune District of Maharashtra, Babar Gajanan Dharmshi is a member of the Shiv Sena political party.

Babar makes a niche in the political scenario by serving as the Member of Standing Committee on Urban Development from August 2009 to  August 2011 and also in the Standing Committee on Rural Development from August 2011 to August 2012. At present, Babar serves as the Member of Standing Committee on Chemical & Fertilizer and Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Defence.
