Location: Tonk, Rajasthan
Importance: Main source of water supply to nearby villages and towns
Bisalpur dam is built across the river Banas near Deoli in Tonk dist., Rajasthan. This biggest dam of Rajasthan is located between two mountains. Bisalpur dam is popular of attracting the migratory and local birds to here. Jaipur and Ajmer are the major beneficiaries of the water supply from this reservoir. Bisalpur-Jaipur Water Supply Project (BWSP) has been intended to supply water from the dam.
