It says Beer was responsible for the birth and thereafter the development of human civilization, and terms beer the “greatest invention of all.” The findings outline how the agricultural revolution began at the initial stage from the need to make beer which ultimately resulted in many inventions like the wheel, plow, and irrigation. Many cities were newly built to meet the increasing demand for beer as more and more people developed a craving for beer. The documentary also claims that lesser-known inventions like math and written language are also connected with beer as farmers had to master math because their fields grew and needed to be quantified and language as it was necessary to keep records of the expanding beer trade.
