Sarita Handa brand has an interesting story behind its birth. The impressive handloom work that Sarita came across while on a trip, lead to the finding of an over 100 Crore apparel brand. In 1992, she started weaving hand-embroidered linen clothing from her house in Delhi with the help of two others. In 1994, they took a rented space in Tughlakabad and expanded the operations with an investment of 10 lakh. At present, the brand has a 1.8 lakh sq ft factory at Manesar and has an exclusive outlet as well.
