5. Tata Motors

Tata Motors is one of the most important branch of the Tata Group with its headquarter in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

It is one of the leaders in the manufacturing of trucks, vans, passenger cars, buses, coaches and also military vehicles.

It has been ranked as the second largest bus manufacturer and the fourth largest truck manufacturer by volume.

Western India Products (Wipro), was founded by Mohamed Hashan Premji in Mumbai on the 29th of December, 1945 in Mumbai.

During the early days, this company was into the manufacturing of vanaspti, vegetable ghee, refined oils, etc.

After the death of Hasham Premji, his son Azim Premji became the chairman of Wipro. Within the time frame of 1970 to 1980, Wipro shifted its focus onto IT and Computing Industries.

Wipro has operational bases in multiple countries around the globe and also has made a strong base in the production of software, personal computers, laptops, lights, baby products, soaps, talcum powder and much more.
