Two employees of ‘amazon.com’, Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal left their job and set up a small e-marketing company called Flipkart in Bangalore (Karnataka) in 2007. This e-marketing company started with the selling of books and today it has a wide range of products.

Flipkart is India’s largest online marketing portal today. It started the ‘cash on delivery’ system which became very popular in India. Most of the online shopping companies in India are also using the same policy for payments.

Flipkart has services in almost all the major cities in India which includes 2500 pincodes.

4. Eko

Eko India Financial Services brought a revolutionary change in Indian online banking services. Abhishek and Abhinav Sinha along with two other friends founded this company in 2007.

Eko allows the transfer of money for the low wage workers in India. This service can be used from a low end mobile phone and has 180,000 users today. SBI, ICICI and Yes Bank are its business partners.

The number of transactions recorded per day is more than 6000 and the net amount exceeds 3.5 crore.
