Though the idea of online stores is very common these days, Flipkart is nothing short of a pioneer in this filed. Upon its genesis, it faced the toughest challenge of making Indian shoppers go for online shopping, which was practically a taboo back then. Moreover, the effectiveness of the supply-chain was also tested here. It revolutionized online shopping in the country and stressed upon payment through plastic money upon delivery. It is now among the top e-commerce portals of the country and continues to constantly innovate.
