#5 Gustav Klimt (Adele Bloch-bauer I)
Price: $135 million

The painting was done in 1907 and is made of oil, silver and gold on canvas. It took Gustav Klimt three years to complete the painting which was bought by Ronald Lauder in 2006. Adele Bloch-bauer I was confiscated by the Nazi’s during the World war period and was later brought back in 1948 and placed in the national Gallery of Austria.

#6 Edvard Munch (The Scream)
Price: $ 119.9 million

The Norwegian painter finished the piece of art in oil, and pastel on cardboard. ‘The scream’ shows a figure crying out loud against a crimson landscape. The last version among the similar four painting was sold by Sotheby's New York (a fine art auction house) in 2012. The picture by the expressionist artist was described “an icon of modern art, a Mona Lisa for our time” by Arthur Lubow.

#7 Jasper Johns (Flag)
Price: $110 million

Jasper Johns painted the flag in oil and collage on fabric mounted on plywood. The art work was done in 1954 and was bought by Steven Cohen in 2010. ‘The flag’ is now kept in the ‘Museum of Modern Arts’.
