Will Google Ditch Android?
Bangalore: That the Android OS is growing in terms of users and market share, is something that is now taken for granted. Google is seen as being largely profited through the OS--but what if it planned to abandon Android?
A quick recap of the Android scene would show that although the OS is successful for smartphones, the devices’ cousins (i.e. Android tablets) haven’t been doing very well. And according to a report carried on Business Insider, this factor could be the root of reasoning behind Google’s decision (that is, if in case Google does plan to ditch the OS—it hasn’t. Well, not yet.)
So why would Google even want to desert Android?
