Updated Windows Phone 8.1 To Feature Notification Center And Digital Personal Assistant

Bangalore: Microsoft is all set to ship its Windows Phone 8.1, the most anticipated windows phone update in April 2014. The new version is anticipated to be equipped with two major consumer addictions, a notification center and a Digital Personal Assistant (DPA) much like Android and iOS. The new quick settings could be revealed by a short swipe from the top, and a longer swipe would display a full notification history, reports The Verge.

The DPA in Windows 8.1  is dubbed as "Cortana,", is expected to replace the existing Bing Search on Windows Phone and allow users to interact through voice or text input in a similar way as that of Google Now and Apple’s Siri technology., Like its existing counterparts, it is said to have the ability to learn through man-mobile interaction and  can automatically remind you about the upcoming meeting or the traffic on your regular routes and similar such updates.
