Salman Khan is a Bengali American, educator, entrepreneur, and former hedge fund analyst. He is the founder of the Khan Academy, a free online education platform and nonprofit organization. Khan graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and computer science, and a Master of Science in electrical engineering and computer science in 1998.

Khan has produced more than 4,800 video lessons educating on wide scale of academic subjects. As of July 21, 2014, the Khan Academy channel on YouTube attracted 2,089,353 subscribers and the Khan Academy videos have been viewed over 458 million times.

Founded in 1964 by Amar G. Bose, Bose Corporation is an American privately held corporation that is specialized in audio equipment. Bose completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering from MIT, writing a thesis on non-linear systems under the supervision of Norbert Wiener and Yuk-Wing Lee, professors at MIT.

Bose Corporation operates 8 plants, 153 retail stores, and an automotive subsidiary in Stow, Massachusetts.
