EMC: This company deals with data storage, information security, visualization, and cloud computing software that enables businesses to store, protect and analyze data. As per the reports of 2013, the company has revenue of $23.2 billion. The company has acquired more than 50 companies over the years across various streams of software developments. EMC is one of the companies to have secretly collaborated with NSA.

Adobe: The American multinational company is located in California. The company was focused on the development of multimedia and creative software products. Recently has started venturing into rich-internet application software. The company has total revenue of $4.05 million as per the 2013 reports. Adobe’s pricing has been criticized around the world where it is double the amount in non-American countries.

Salesforce.com: It is a global cloud computing company best known for its customer relationship management. The company has started expanding into “social enterprise arena” through acquisitions. The company has acquired over 50 companies and the latest was of RelateIQ, acquired in 2014 July. The total revenue of the company is $4.07 billion as per 2014 reports.

Intuit: The American software company deals with financial and tax preparations software for small businesses and individuals. Intuit recently acquired Invicto, in May 2014, apart from the many acquisitions made over the past 20 years.  It has software like Deamnforce, Gopayment and quickbooks just to name a few. There international products are mostly created by licensed third party companies. The total revenue of the company is $4171.o million as per 2013 reports.
