Symantec Corporation: The Company is located in Mountain View, California. They make security, storage, backup and availability software, while also offering professional services to support its software. Symantec is one of the most used certificate authorities. The company has total revenue of $6.8 billion as of the 2013 reports. Over the years the company has acquired various other firms like Veritas, ACT and Sygate, to name a few. The company has not gone without a number of complaints of security breach to their software used by many companies.

SAP SE: This German based multinational company deals with enterprise software that is used by companies for business operations and customer relations. It has total revenue worth $20.9 billion as of the 2013 reports. The most recent software products by SAP are Sybase mobile products and the In-memory computing product SAP HANA. It has acquired 58 companies and the latest being SEEWHY in May 2014, a company that worked on behavioral target marketing.

IBM: It is an American based multinational software company deals with computer software, hardware, IT services and IT consulting. The company has total revenue of $99.7 billion as per 2013 reports. The company was formed after the merger of three companies, i.e. Tabulating Machine Company, International time Recording Company and Computing Scale Company. IBM is currently working on software to help visually impaired users to be available to the open source software. This is just one among the numerous ongoing projects conducted by them.
