The Success Story Behind The Idly-Dosa Man Of 'Namma Bengaluru'

In a year’s time their hard work paid off to a range of making a sale of 100 packets a day, after which the company’s growth sought more time of Musthafa’s professional space. He had to quit his luxurious job which paid him well. He realized that the Malayali businessman inside him is not the one after a 9-5 job or luxury job.

Once out of the job his full focus shifted on how to ignite the produce handle. So, he made a proper survey and came to the conclusion that Bangalore daily needs 5000 kg of batter to live on. With the demand in sight and sales endeavor from the small setup in IndiraNagar boosted their confidence to set up a 600 square foot kitchen in Kaggadasapura, on which Mushtafa invested his hard earned 6 lakh to set the engine on track.

After 2008 the company came to be a prominent part of Bangalore market and has expanded in to a proper factory in Hoskote with the help of Karnataka State Industrial Development Council (KSIDC). With more place at hand, Mushtafa started vitalizing the production process by bringing in Custom-made grinders from U.S.  These large, modified grinders that self-sterilize at the touch of a button come in place of the Indian grinders whose cleaning is a difficult task. Also the small grinders used to take an hour to grind up one kilogram of dal, so their replacements have helped the company set up as a whole, with a turnover of 70 crore and an employee stat of 700 members.
