2. Carbon Clean

‘Carbon Clean’ was designed to mitigate the effects of global warming and it provides with statistics of amount of carbon dioxide released from the flue gases of power plants and industrial utilities seamlessly. The project caught the eyes of UK government in a carbon capture competition and the government appreciated the project with a grant. "It was hard to tell the world that this technology was Made in India, and not coming from Japan or the US," said Aniruddha Sharma, Co-founder. The firm is also working with Norwegian oil major, Statoil, to capture the amount carbon dioxide emitted from its plant.

3. Sastra Robotics:

Hailing from Palakkad, Kerala, Arunin P., Akhil A., and Achu Wison, creators of humanoid, Chippu realized their craze for robotics in 2009 while they were engaged in a college project. The young innovators developed Anette Telepresence Robot for video conferencing which derives a new dimension to video conferencing. "The screen is attached to a robot, so, when you are video conferencing you can move around the office and assess the situation yourself," Arunin said. With their innovative ideas and new technology, they are proud partner of Bosch, Harman International Industries, Intel Labs, and Tech Mahindra.
