BANGALORE: Worldoo.com is a platform that has been designed to cater exclusively to kids between 6-12years of age while they take their first steps into the world of the internet. The startup website aims to create a unitive ecosystem for kids, where young kids across the globe can connect, interact and discuss the world around them.

The founder of Worldoo.com, Monish Ghatalia understood the mindset of children and realised the need for a single digital destination for children on the internet. He thus was able to conceptualise the idea of Worldoo.com in such a way that a kid gets all he wants in.

“Unlike other entertainment portals, search engines and social networks that have been created for adults, there are very less contents on the web specific for the budding demography. They seek creative engagement, interactive elements, friends, chat and much more and by creating new and popular content, worldoo.com aims to provide for the same.” Added Ghatalia.

Even though today’s children are called as ‘digital natives,’ parents are still not very comfortable in letting their kids online. The startup website thus helps kids create positive experiences online and ensures vigilance in a form of an activity wherein both parents and kids can engage together.

The initial challenge faced by Worldoo.com was to go to the top global content brands like Cartoon Network, National Geographic and Gaming Companies and get them to believe in idea. The other challenge was to make the site a visual classic. It took a series of designers and illustrators to create the platform in a way that appeal to kids the most. It was also very essential for the founders to convince the stakeholders to believe in the concept of Worldoo.com.
