Railway Budget: 7 Expectations From Common Man

The railway budget is expected to present serious measure to fight against the rising railway crimes. Express and mail trains are expected to CCTVs in their coaches to keep a tight rein on the rising number of crimes. Women passengers would further benefit with the security, as more women constables will be recruited on-board. Railway Protection Force will be available for women travelers on a mobile app where they can seek help in emergency situations in trains.

Swachh Railways

Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan is likely to come into play in railway budget. A step to be taken towards cleaner railways is on the cards. Facilitating bio-toilets in trains and stations, providing dustbins in all coaches is expected. On board house Keeping facilities are expected to be introduced on more trains to provide better railway experiences.  

In addition to this, six more stations are likely to adopt the Clean Train Station Scheme.
