BANGALORE: HR experts are betting big on the internal management tools like the Cross functional promotions that help in solving the manpower crises in the organizations.  Cross functional promotions let people within the company to apply for vacant positions like HR, engineering, marketing and Sales.

The success of this process is backed by strong factual evidence where over the last three years more than 70 per cent of open roles have been filled internally, many of which have been cross functional, Singh added.
