India's Top Four IT Firms Record Massive Growth Of $8 Billion


Bangalore: India’s top four IT companies- TCS, Infosys, Wipro and HCL Tech have marked their combined financial numbers to a mind-blowing $8 billion ( 43,200 crore). The numbers get more interesting, when you are reminded of the fact that the overall business trends where lethargic for the entire sector.

According to the recent quarter sale numbers, TCS and HCL Tech managed to post decent financial values for the quarter that ended in March 31, whereas ‘the big two’, Infosys and Wipro disappointed.

Yet, all the four companies came up with a strong revenue numbers as on March 31, 2013. So with that said, let’s check at these massive numbers.

Tata Consultancy Services:

Tata group’s IT arm, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) led by Natarajan Chandrasekaran, came out with a massive fortune this fiscal year. The company closed with total cash and cash equivalents of $1.24 billion with an increase of $100 million during the year ended March 31, 2013.
