Aadhar Project Floods Revenue For Indian IT


Bangalore: The Indian administration has recently taken up the initiative to issue unique, biometric photo ID cards to every citizen seeing the growing sector of financial banking and other transaction services in the country.

The IT companies have a major role to play in this perspective as not only their technology will come in handy but also the project will look to generate revenue especially in the rural segment. The following article is based on a report prepared by Nitin Puri for Mobile India which shows the platform set to generate revenue by the ambitious Aadhar project to IT firms.

TechGig.com shows the heavy dependency of the Aadhar project on the Banks and in turn the banks rely on Technology to implement their programs. Some of the national Indian banks like HDFC and ICICI are asking their customers who have an Aadhar card to link it to their bank accounts to further their verification process.
