Aadhar Project Floods Revenue For Indian IT

HCL Infosystems has tied up with 26 banks in order to provide technology solutions for connecting to the most remote parts of the country and thus they are looking to gain a share in this huge revenue generating project. Wipro is also looking into this domain as the returns are expected to be substantially good for the company’s growth prospect.

Online banking in India is substantially on a superior level when compared to some of the developed countries of the world. In order to make sure that the right customer is accessing the accounts online the banks have provided the facility of virtual keyboards along with one time passwords to registered mobile devices only.

Even the applications that cater to mobile banking as offered by HDFC and ICICI are virtually identical to accessing the accounts online. Here comes the real advantage of the Aadhar card that it looks to connect even the rural population online or to a local branch even though some of the villages in India do not have connection to the Internet. There are other problems which cater to rural India like finding an ATM or an ATM which works with the desired card as most of the ATMs across rural India is simply to be found out of cash.
