Founded by Petter Muren in December 2007, Prox Dynamics is a Norway-based company primarily aimed at developing, producing and selling the world’s smallest unmanned aircraft systems.

They create new innovative solutions based on modern micro electronics, new sensor technology, creative aerodynamics and efficient low cost production techniques.

A military micro unmanned aerial vehicle named ‘The Black Hornet Nano’ is developed by Prox Dynamics and is deployed by the British Army.

The drone measures around 10 × 2.5 cm (4 × 1 in) and provides troops on the ground with local situational awareness. They are small enough to fit in one hand and weigh just over half an ounce and is equipped with a camera, which gives the operator full-motion video and still images.

With the present pace, Prox Dynamics will definitely rule the drone market sooner.
