Why now and why not earlier? — is the question that strikes us all. There can be many reasons but the most important one and also the one that is universally approved is that Google has finally seen need of a controlling authority on all its projects as a whole. Till now all the projects that are under Google will be owned and its controlling interests will be distributed between the power heads of the company.
"This new structure will allow us to keep tremendous focus on the extraordinary opportunities we have inside of Google," Larry Page said in his blogpost. The co-founder stressed on a simpler structure for what had become a diverse group of businesses.
