6 Foreign Companies And Their Massive Investments in India

The Taiwan based manufacturer Foxconn is planning on building 12 new factories in India by 2020, which will result in employment of nearly one million workers. The company is best known as the largest global manufacturer of Apple products and for wide range of companies like Blackberry, Amazon, Motorola, Xiaomi and Sony with its manufacturing units in China too.

Foxconn CEO Terry Gou on his tour to India visited New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru with meeting the Chief Minister’s of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Furthermore the CM’s of Gujarat and Maharashtra visited the company and seen through their facilities as well. Gou also mentioned interest in working with the Indian companies other than the hardware business as the company is also into Internet, hardware for information processing, cloud-computing and bandwidth.
