Xiaomi, the Chinese Smartphone Maker is setting up its plants in Andhra Pradesh (might be in Vishakhapatnam) joining the bandwagon of foreign settlements or investments in India.

The company might just assemble the Smartphone in the initial stages, but down the line the company is looking to habituate by creating a suitable and sustainable ecosystem, aiming for localization. By establishing its base, the company cemented the underlying truth that India may soon overtake U.S. and become the world’s second largest market by 2017.
