Dutt Dared to Dream
I was impressed reading about Ashoke Dutt in your Dec/Jan issue. To think that an individual has such vision and grit to follow through with what he set out to do. He seems to have been ahead of times even way back then. When everyone wanted to leave India, he wanted to return to India. Today, of course, one sees that the face of India is changing and people do want to go back. But to insist and diligently find workable answers in times of the “License Raj” and miles of red tape has shown Dutt’s true character. siliconindia has done the Indians worldwide a great honor by sharing Dutt’s accomplishments with us.

Branding 101 nails the need!

Indian Inc. and branding have been acronyms in any industry and it is good to see such relevant articles coming in the magazine. There has been enough said about the backlash, wage arbitrage and H1B's. I think branding is an avenue that Indian companies have to leverage well in order to be seen in the world market for a long time. Datta Nadkarni has outlined the problem well!

Digiprise Surprise

Venky Rangachari and Sai Gundavelli are brave entrepreneurs, indeed, to take on the might of Salesforce. That said, it would be interesting to watch how they scale their business to return investments to the VCs.
