Winfrey has constructed from empire from scratch and now is sharing the details of her lavish abode with Nate Berkus. Berkus is a world-class interior designer and has been featured on Oprah many times. Winfrey’s home is situated in Montecito, California. It measures 23,000 square feet in area. Her home is lovingly called ‘Oasis.’ She gave Berkus a tour of her house on a golf-cart and showed-off her lovely rose garden. Her famous ‘garden teahouse’ is perhaps bigger and more interesting than many celeb houses. To Oprah, her house reflects her personality and also how she grew up – surrounded by earthiness. Compared to her earlier home full of glass and chrome, Oasis is lot more different. It has her famous tea-house, cinema theatre and a man-made lake filled with exotic fishes.
