Ramesh Loganathan, MD, (and VP-Products), Progress Software India

Starting his career way back in 1990 Loganathan has worked with WTI, Informex, Pramati, and also as a multi TR consultant in the U.S. Prior to Progress, he was responsible for driving the entire product development lifecycle at Pramati. There, he also accomplished the setting up of the technology consulting division from scratch. At Progress, he will steer the complete product development work from the company's development center.

Outside work, his time is spent in teaching and mentoring students. Loganathan is an adjunct faculty at the IIT, Hyderabad, and actively works with BarCamps and Hysea where he promotes student entrepreneurship. Post his IT career he sees himself working as a full time faculty at a University. As an avid reader, he cherishes fictions from his favorite authors Lee Child, Arthur Hailey, and Dan Brown.

Umberto Milletti, CEO and Cofounder

Umberto Milletti is the cofounder and CEO of InsideView, the pioneering business search & intelligence service. Umberto has been a thought leader in the convergence of technology and content for the last 10 years. In the mid-90s he helped create a new way of learning, now called e-learning, where relevant instructions is delivered to students over the Internet. Beginning in 1996, as an executive and co-founder of DigitalThink, he also designed and built one of the first multi-tenant Software-As-A-Service platforms to deliver and track learning for millions of adult students each year. Umberto helped lead DigitalThink to a successful IPO, growing annual revenues to $60 million, and ultimately to its sale to Convergys in 2004.

Even when he's not busy changing the world, you are likely to find Umberto moving quickly, either on a race track where he competes in auto racing, or on a bicycle racing up a hill, or playing sports with his two boys. Umberto holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California-Berkeley.

Sateesh Andra,Venture Partner,DFJ India.

Sateesh Andra is a Venture Partner with DFJ India. He is currently on the board of directors at MetroMela, mGinger and Pressmart, and is a board observer for Cleartrip. With hands-on start-up experience and in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of VC funding, he has effectively leveraged India to create technology products for global markets.

Sateesh started his Silicon Valley career in the early nineties and has extensive background in general management, marketing, product strategy, and technology development. Prior to DFJ, Sateesh was the founder and CEO of Euclid Software, a leader in the IT Governance space. He has also served in product marketing and engineering leadership roles at Tsqware (Conexant), LSI Logic, VLSI Technology (Philips), and Wipro.

Sateesh holds U.S. patents in Communications and Networking and has published several articles on Business - IT Alignment. He is actively involved with TiE-ISB Connect, an annual networking event for entrepreneurs and investors. Sateesh holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Akhil Agarwal, Vice President & Global Head (BFSI),Virtusa Corporation

Akhil is the global head of Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) delivery unit at Virtusa. He has over 20 years of rich and varied IT industry experience spanning product development, technology consulting and offshore delivery.

Prior to joining Virtusa, Akhil was Vice President at Capgemini where he managed Banking & Insurance Business units for a large account. Akhil relocated to India after spending 16 years in USA. Prior to moving to India, Akhil had worked with US Interactive, Technology Solutions Company, and Information Gateways Corporation in Washington DC area. Arun Rao,Vice President, Global Human Resources, AppLabs

Arun Rao is the Vice President, Global Human Resources of AppLabs, the world's largest independent testing, quality management and certification solutions company. In his current role, Arun oversees the HR operations and people development initiatives globally.

Prior to taking up his current position at AppLabs, Arun was the head of the HR function at Intelligroup Asia, an IT Services Firm based out of Hyderabad, where he was responsible for post-recruitment HR operations as well as the Learning & Development functions. He also worked with Satyam Computers in leadership positions in HR and at Mascon Global, where he worked in their offices in India and the US, to manage their Business HR functions. Arun started his career with Steel Authority of India Ltd as a Management Trainee in 1989, where he worked with them in various capacities in their Personnel and HR teams till 1999, post which he opted for Voluntary Separation.

Anand Arvind, Vice President, Engineering , SumTotal Systems, Inc

Anand Arvind has been the vice president of Engineering for SumTotal Systems in India since October 2007. In this role, he leads a team in charge of architecture, technology, infrastructure and quality assurance for SumTotal's award-winning talent development software suite. Anand has spent 9 years at SumTotal in various roles including leading global program management and helping build the learning product suite into the leading system in the market. Prior to joining SumTotal, Anand was a key employee of Intelliprep, a startup that developed personalized learning solutions that was acquired by SumTotal. He joined Intelliprep after a stint at Microsoft where he worked in the Windows group working on Supportability and Manageability of Windows. Anand previous career also includes positions as Principal Research Scientist at Scientific Forming Technologies, the leading provider of high end simulation software for manufacturing processes. Sanjay Jesrani, VP, Finance & Operations, IDC

Sanjay has over 15 years experience spanning the entire gamut of financial management activities including corporate finance, public issue process management, internal audit and budgetary control, managing investor relations, international financial transactions, setting up of subsidiary operations, implementing transfer pricing arrangements and the design and implementation of ESOPs. Arjun Rao, Founder CEO, Valuelabs

Arjun Rao is the founder and CEO of ValueLabs. He started ValueLabs in 1997 with a vision to create a unique company; one with a different approach to business. Krishna Setlur, Director - Human Resources, Invensys India

Human resources professional with an MBA from XLRI, Setlur has a diverse HR experience of over 17 years in many large and transnational corporations. Currently he serves as Director & Head - HR at Invensys. Some of his prior stints include blue chip companies like Samsung Software, Ericcson India, IBM and Hughes Software. Santanu Paul, Entrepreneur, StealthMode

A well-known leader in the industry, Santanu Paul is currently an entrepreneur in stealth mode. He has over 13 years of experience in the industry and was until recently the SVP at Virtusa.

He joined Virtusa in 2003 and served in a variety of senior management and operational roles such as General Manager, Hyderabad Advanced Technology Center; Asia Head, High Tech and BFSI Business Units; and SVP, Global Delivery Operations. He was a key member of the senior leadership committee that drove Virtusa's five-fold growth culminating in its public listing in 2007, and a 4000+ strong global organization.

Prior to Virtusa, Santanu was Chief Technology Officer at Openpages, a Boston-based player in corporate risk management solutions. He was also CTO and co-founder at Viveca, a B2B technology startup that Openpages acquired in 2001. He began his career as a research staff member at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, where his team designed Rainmaker, a pioneering workflow system. For his work on workflow and content management, he has been awarded United States patents.

Santanu has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he was a recipient of the prestigious Rackham pre-doctoral fellowship and the IBM Canada fellowship. He has an undergraduate degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has published many articles in international journals and has spoken at conferences such as Java One, Comdex, and AIIM. His interviews and articles have appeared in several leading media publications.

Joga Ryali, Vice President, CA

Joga Ryali is the vice president and site manager for CA India Technology Center (ITC) in Hyderabad, manages all product development, maintenance, testing, technical publications and support activities at the center.
