About us
SocialNuggets provides social media analytics for consumer electronics industry in the form of a hosted software platform. It is a subsidiary of Serendio, Inc. which was started over 3 years ago. Having worked on diverse market segments, we realized that many fast moving markets like Consumer Electronics need instant access to data and insights rather than having to wait weeks for the appropriate sources and Taxonomy to be tuned correctly to a vertical market.
SocialNuggets proactively collects socialmedia data, cleans it, categories it, analyzes it and then makes it available to its customers in the Consumer Electronics industry so that they can derive insights to make better decisions.
SocialNuggets is based on 20 man years of technology development and innovation in NLP (Natural Language Processing), Text Analytics and Sentiment Analysis at AU-KBC Research Centre. The company is privately funded by Svapas Innovations, a Technology Incubator focused on transforming leading-edge ideas into market innovations.

Paul has been a founder and CEO of four high tech startups with three successful exits – Veraz going public on NASDAQ (now part of Dialogic), CyLAN acquired by Hifn and Internetware acquired by Symantec. His expertise is in growing companies, building & managing teams and consummating large deals. Before joining SocialNuggets, Paul was an Entrepreneur in residence at Lightspeed Venture Partners looking at companies inmobile, social and cloud areas. Paul is on the board of TiE Silicon Valley and was elected as the Marketing Chair. He is also an avid blogger on mobile industry issues. He is also a mentor and advisor to various startups. Paul has over 20 years of experience in general management, marketing and business development in the Mobile, Internet, Security, Data and Telecommunications Software industry. Before getting into startups, he worked for over 10 years in various marketing management and business development roles at Ascend/ Lucent, Castelle, Telebit/Cisco, Sun Microsystems and 3Com.

The company offers free nuggets on its site and sells Data as a Service to market research & marketing, product management, customer service and executive management at various consumer electronics companies.
Free Data Portal
The Free Data Portalis available to all visitors and provides nuggets in the form of brief commentary and infographics derived from SocialNuggets technology. The current areas of focus encompass consumer electronics products such as smartphones and tablets. The Free Data Portal also provides trending topics and influencers (coming soon) in social media within these product categories.
Premium Data Portal
Our Premium Data Portal provides a flexible way for customers to derive their own insights to develop an even deeper understanding of the forces at work in the consumer electronics markets.
The analyzed data is available in a Greenplum data warehouse and can be accessed through a rich, Flex-based reporting portal or can be integrated with third-party business intelligence tools such as SAS, SPSS or Tableau. The Premium Data Portal is available as a monthly software subcription.
