South Korean electronics giant, LG did pretty decent this year and this performance has given them the 4^th slot in the global rankings. With global sales of 17 million mobiles during the second quarter, LG holds 3.9 percent in mobile market shares.

In 2012, the company did sales of over 14 million units in the second quarter and also held a market share of 3.4 percent.

#3 Apple

At number 3, it’s the Cupertino giant Apple with impressive sales of 31.8 million units in the second quarter of this year. Apart from that, the overall market share in the global mobile market stood at 7.3 percent, up from 6.9 percent in 2012. In 2012, Apple marked sales of over 28 million units which were also pretty impressive.
