What Entrepreneurs Can Learn From Olympians

Listen to your inner voice

“Even in high school, I'd tell my mom I was sick of swimming and wanted to try to play golf. She wasn't too happy. She'd say, 'Think about this.' And I'd always end up getting back in the pool” says Michael Phelps, an Olympian and a world famous swimmer. Sometimes your inner strength is over heard by other people, like a partner, mother or even a friend. When you realize that you posses a strength it is much advisable for an entrepreneur to work in that area. He should always believe in his strength and move forward listening to his inner voice.

Simplify objectives

“Previously I always thought it was just tactical and technique, but every match has become almost mental and physical—I try to push myself to move well. I try to push myself not to get upset and stay positive, and that's what my biggest improvement is over all those years. Under pressure I can see things very clear” says Roger Federer. He always believed in simplifying the objectives and striving towards it with great determination and courage. Every entrepreneur must look at his objectives with a crystal clear view. He must not have any doubts on his move and must move steadily like an Olympian on field.
