The interior of the MPV looks sportier with its 3-spoke steering wheel, steering mounted audio controls, keyless entry, multi-information display, twin-AC, electricity adjusted mirror etc and the roomy interior is spacious with flexible seating arrangement along with a high storage space. Ertiga makes a global debut using a K-14 VVT engine and the diesel variant of the car is powered with 1.3 litre DDiS Super turbo engine.

#7 Tata Nano

The world’s cheapest car, Tata Nano, has been one of the favorite options among the commoners in India from its inception. The sales of this MPV has increased to 6507 units in the month of August 2012.

Nano, probably the most talked about car in the history of Indian automobiles, initially perceived as the 1 lakh car, but the base model came in 1.4 lakh. The pretty cute car has passenger space and fuel economy. Tata recently launched the upgraded version—the 2012 Tata Nano—with more power, more torque, improved interior and better fuel economy. The car can be grabbed with just 15000 down-payment, something that its rivals can never think of.
