Raman Singh: The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Raman Singh faces the biggest threat from the naxals in his own home state. Everyday alerts are being sent across about the threat the CM faces from the naxals.

Although this terror group has made the ruling party Congress as their main target, they also send a very strong signals for a ’spectacular’ attack on Singh. He faces the biggest threat in his state and the security around him has ordered to be beefed up high level especially during the elections. The IB has indicated that all roads that he takes need to be checked regularly for land mines and his rallies to be checked thoroughly by the security agencies.

Sushil Kumar Shinde: The current Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde comes on the hit list of Indian Mujahideen. According to the IB, it is the arrest of IM Chief Yasin Bhatkal and the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru that turns out as the main reason for the IM to target Shinde. In addition, the outfit feels that he has acted against them based on the inputs of the Maharashtra ATS, which the IM has always tried to attack.
