Rahul Gandhi: Vice President of the Indian National Congress, Rahul Gandhi who was once considered by many as one of the country's most eligible bachelor, still carries boyish charm at the age of 43. His marriage has always been a hot topic but his statements have varied from 'finding the right girl' to even saying that he was not interested in marriage;

however, the topic of marriage refuses to leave Rahul Gandhi. Earlier, he has been linked to foreign girlfriends but for now, Rahul Gandhi remains single and said he would marry when he gets the right person.

Mamata Banerjee: Widely known as ‘Didi’, Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, has dedicated her life for the welfare of the state and thereby remains unmarried even at the age of 59. Because of the intensity with which she works at politics, she, perhaps, show least interest in her personal life.
 ‘Didi’ is the first woman Chief Minister of West Bengal who has earlier started her political career with the Congress in the 1970s and went on to become the General Secretary of the “Mahila Congress”. It was then in 1997, that Didi left Congress and went on to form the All India Trinamool Congress party that became a direct competitor to the then ruling Communist party in the state. Formerly, she served as the Railway Minister for two tenures.
