A.k.a "Adult Baby Food"! The epic flop of Gerber Singles is also the most repeated referenced brand failures of all times. In 1974, Gerber - the baby-food manufacturer attempted to put together this doable sans the shame (well, kind of) when it launched Gerber Singles. The Singles were small servings of a variety of fruits, vegetables and pre-portioned boxed up meat pap in little glass jars like those used for baby food but aimed at college-goers and single adults which turned out to be a major dud.
