April 23, 1985 will always be remembered in the history of sodas. Coco-Cola launched the "New Coke" on that particular day, representing the first formula change of the original secret carbonated formula of the soda in 99 years. By July however the company realized its mistake of messing with a classic and put back the old coke on the shelves.
