The 10 Best Things Tim Cook Has Ever Said

Price, Rarely the Most Important Thing

Apple has always been criticized for over-pricing. Hear this from Tim Cook’s Keynote speech at Goldman Sachs Conference on February 2012:

"Price is rarely the most important thing. A cheap product might sell some units and somebody may get it home and you know, they feel great when they pay from their wallets, but then they get it home and use it, and the joy is gone. And the joy is gone every day that they use it and that's why they're not using it anymore! You don't keep remembering 'Oh, I got a good deal,' because you hate it!"

The “Irreplaceable” Steve

To an interview with Fortune magazine in November 2008, Cook said: "Come on, replace Steve? No. He's irreplaceable. That's something people have to get over. I see Steve there with gray hair in his 70s, long after I'm retired."
